The LinkedIn Universal Profile Converter automation allows you to gather profile data from LinkedIn and standardize it into a format suitable for various uses, such as lead generation, recruitment, or competitive analysis. This tool is ideal for sales professionals, recruiters, and marketers who need organized, actionable profile data. Follow this guide to set up the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for streamlined analysis and tracking.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Go to the Automation Store and use the search bar to locate LinkedIn Universal Profile Converter.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn profiles, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection options:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing you to log in without needing manual cookie entry.
- Add Account: Connects directly using TexAu’s built-in browser extension, making setup quick and straightforward.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Once connected to LinkedIn, define the input source to specify which LinkedIn profiles to convert. TexAu allows you to enter a single LinkedIn Profile URL or bulk upload multiple profile URLs using Google Sheets or CSV.
- Single Profile URL: To convert a single LinkedIn profile, enter the LinkedIn Profile URL. This option is useful if you’re analyzing an individual lead, prospect, or contact for detailed data conversion.
- Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Profiles: For processing multiple profiles, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Profile URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file to TexAu. This setup is ideal for large datasets, allowing TexAu to process multiple profiles in a single run.
- LinkedIn Filters: For bulk conversions, apply filters to narrow down profiles by criteria such as location, industry, or job title. Filtering helps target profiles more precisely, aligning the data output with your specific goals.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
To run the automation at a specific time, configure the Schedule settings. Click Schedule to set the start date and time or select a Recurrence Frequency for automated, repeated conversions:
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or every 12 hours)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Wednesday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 5th and 25th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., March 10)
Regular scheduling can be helpful if you’re consistently gathering LinkedIn profile data for analysis or tracking.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To simulate natural browsing behavior, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each profile conversion. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce a randomized element, helping prevent LinkedIn from detecting automated activity. Adjust this delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days, based on your preferences.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
In Output Mode, select how you’d like to save and manage the converted profile data. Export to Google Sheets or CSV file for easy handling, sharing, and further analysis.
- Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output format. If you select Google Sheets, connect your Google account to enable a direct export to Google Drive.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Adds new converted data to the end of the existing file, creating a continuous dataset.
- Split: Each automation run creates a new file, useful if you prefer distinct datasets for each run.
- Overwrite: Replaces the previous data with the latest conversions, ideal if you’re only tracking recent profiles.
- Duplicate Management: Use the Deduplicate option to automatically remove duplicate entries, ensuring your data stays organized and consistent.
Tip: Google Sheets is an excellent choice for collaborative projects, enabling real-time updates and data sharing across teams.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are set, click Run to start the automation. Choose between Cloud or Desktop mode for running the automation:
- Cloud: Run the automation on TexAu’s servers for a hands-free experience.
- Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer to use your own IP address, which can simulate manual conversions.
Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud run-time costs and gives you greater control over task execution.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the converted profile data. Locate the LinkedIn Universal Profile Converter automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
