Tutorial
The LinkedIn Post Likers Export automation allows you to extract details about users who have liked specific LinkedIn posts, including profile names, job titles, and company details. This tool is ideal for sales teams, recruiters, and marketers looking to identify engaged leads or potential connections. Follow this guide to configure the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for easy tracking and analysis.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. In the Automation Store, enter LinkedIn Post Likers Export in the search bar to find the tool quickly.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Automation Store screen with "LinkedIn Post Likers Export" entered in the search bar.
Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access LinkedIn post data, connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection methods:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email for easy login without manual cookie management.
- Add Account: Connects directly using TexAu’s built-in browser extension, simplifying the setup process.
Tip: Magic Link is a fast, secure way to connect LinkedIn without needing to handle cookies manually.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the LinkedIn connection options, highlighting both Magic Link and Add Account choices.
Step 3: Select Your Input Source
With LinkedIn connected, define the input source to specify which posts you want to scrape for liker information. You can enter a single LinkedIn post URL or upload a list of post URLs using Google Sheets or CSV.
- Single Post URL: For a one-time extraction, enter the LinkedIn Post URL of the post whose likers you want to export. This option is useful if you’re targeting a specific post.
- Google Sheet or CSV for Multiple Posts: To gather likers from multiple posts, use a Google Sheet or CSV file. List each LinkedIn Post URL in a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This setup allows you to collect data from several posts in one run, saving time.
- Filtering Options: Apply filters, such as date range or industry, to narrow down the likers data you want to extract, ensuring it aligns with your objectives.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the input source options screen with LinkedIn Post URL, Google Sheet, and CSV options highlighted.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s scheduling feature if you want to run the automation periodically. Click Schedule to set the start date and time, or choose a Recurrence Frequency to repeat the automation:
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or every week)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 5th and 20th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., March 15)
Scheduling is useful for ongoing tracking of likers, helping you stay updated on new engagements.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the scheduling interface with options for selecting start time and recurrence frequency.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To avoid LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each post liker extraction. Configure Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to add variability, simulating natural behavior. Adjust this delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days as needed.
Screenshot Suggestion: Include a screenshot of the Iteration Delay settings, showing Minimum Delay, Maximum Delay, and time units.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
In Output Mode, select how you want to save and manage the extracted liker data. Exporting data to Google Sheets or CSV file makes it easy to organize and share insights.
- Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file as your output destination. Link your Google account if you select Google Sheets, enabling a direct export to Google Drive.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Adds each new extraction to the end of the existing file, creating a cumulative list of post likers.
- Split: Each run generates a new file, helpful for tracking data by session.
- Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest extraction, ideal if you’re only interested in the most recent engagement.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove duplicate entries, ensuring data remains clean and organized.
Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets is ideal for collaborative review and analysis, providing real-time access to updated engagement data.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the output mode options screen with Google Sheets, CSV, and Deduplicate options highlighted.
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose whether to run on Cloud or Desktop mode:
- Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, perfect for hands-free operation.
- Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your IP address, which can help simulate manual usage.
Tip: Running the automation on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and provides more control over the task.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Run button with Cloud and Desktop options visible.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the extracted liker data. Locate the LinkedIn Post Likers Export automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
Screenshot Suggestion: Display the Data Store screen with the “See Data” button highlighted.
The LinkedIn Post Likers Export automation simplifies the process of identifying and tracking engaged users who have liked specific posts. With scheduling, bulk input options, and export to Google Sheets or CSV, this tool is valuable for sales, marketing, and recruitment teams seeking insights into engaged audiences for targeted outreach and connection-building.
