The LinkedIn Received Connection Extractor automation allows you to gather and track details of incoming LinkedIn connection requests, including requester profiles and mutual connections. This tool is valuable for network managers, sales professionals, and recruiters who want to organize, analyze, and respond strategically to new LinkedIn invitations. Follow this guide to set up the automation, with options to export data to Google Sheets or CSV for easy review and follow-up.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and enter LinkedIn Received Connection Extractor in the search bar to quickly locate the tool.

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access your received connection requests, you need to connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two secure connection methods:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email, allowing you to connect without manually entering cookies.
- Add Account: Connects directly through TexAu’s built-in browser extension, simplifying the setup process.

Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Once LinkedIn is connected, set the input source to define which received connection requests to extract. This extractor can automatically retrieve all incoming connection requests or target specific invitations based on LinkedIn profile URLs.
- Automatic Extraction of All Received Requests: Select this option to allow TexAu to automatically extract data on all pending incoming connection requests, useful for capturing a complete list of received invitations.
- Google Sheet or CSV for Targeted Extraction: For a more specific extraction, use a Google Sheet or CSV file containing LinkedIn Profile URLs of particular requests you want to track. Paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu to process only the selected profiles.
- Filtering Options: Customize further by setting filters such as request age (e.g., requests received more than 30 days ago) to focus on older invitations, helping prioritize follow-ups on long-standing requests.

Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s scheduling feature if you want to run the automation at specific times for regular extraction of incoming requests. Click Schedule to set the start date and time or configure a Recurrence Frequency for ongoing tracking:
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every day or week)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Monday and Friday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., January 10)
Scheduling is helpful if you want to regularly monitor incoming requests over time, ensuring no new invitation goes unaddressed.

Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To simulate natural usage and avoid LinkedIn’s rate limits, set an Iteration Delay to control the interval between each data extraction. Configure both Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to introduce variability between requests, helping avoid detection. Adjust this delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days as needed.

Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
In Output Mode, select how you’d like to save and manage the extracted data. You can export data to Google Sheets or a CSV file for easy tracking and analysis.
- Export Options: Choose Google Sheets or CSV file for data export. If you select Google Sheets, link your Google account to enable a direct export to Google Drive.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Adds each new extraction to the end of the existing file, creating a cumulative list of received requests.
- Split: Each run generates a new file, useful for keeping data organized by session.
- Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest extraction, ideal if you’re only tracking recent received requests.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to remove duplicate entries, ensuring your data remains clean and organized.
Tip: Exporting to Google Sheets allows for real-time collaboration, particularly useful for teams managing connections together.

Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are set, click Run to start the automation. TexAu offers the flexibility to run automations on Cloud or Desktop:
- Cloud: Runs the automation on TexAu’s servers, ideal for hands-free operation.
- Desktop: Run locally on your device if you prefer using your IP address, which may help simulate manual activity.
Tip: Running automations on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and offers more control over the task.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
After the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access the extracted connection request data. Locate the LinkedIn Received Connection Extractor automation and click See Data to view or download the results.
