Overview
Tutorial
The LinkedIn Withdraw Invitation automation allows you to efficiently withdraw LinkedIn invitations and clean up your pending connection requests by removing unaccepted invitations. This tool is ideal for sales professionals, recruiters, and network managers who need to maintain a well-organized LinkedIn profile. Follow this guide to configure the automation for bulk withdrawal of pending invitations, with data export options to Google Sheets or CSV for record-keeping.
Step 1: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Navigate to the Automation Store and enter LinkedIn Withdraw Invitation in the search bar to locate this tool, which helps you cancel LinkedIn connection requests in bulk.
Screenshot Suggestion: Display the Automation Store interface with "LinkedIn Withdraw Invitation" entered in the search bar.
Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn with TexAu
To allow TexAu to access and withdraw your pending connection requests, you need to connect your LinkedIn account. Click Add Account and select LinkedIn. TexAu offers two convenient connection methods:
- Magic Link: Sends a secure link to your email for a seamless login experience without entering cookies manually.
- Add Account: Connects directly through TexAu’s built-in browser extension for a straightforward setup.
Tip: Magic Link is a secure and fast way to connect your LinkedIn account without cookie management.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the LinkedIn connection options, highlighting both Magic Link and Add Account methods.
Step 3: Select Your Input Source
Once your LinkedIn account is connected, define the input source to specify which pending invitations to withdraw. TexAu allows you to customize this based on criteria such as connection request age or specific LinkedIn URLs.
- Automatic Search for All Pending Invitations: To withdraw all LinkedIn invitations that are pending, let TexAu automatically locate unaccepted requests for a complete cleanup. This is ideal if you want a complete cleanup of your unaccepted connection requests.
- Google Sheet or CSV for Targeted Withdrawals: For a more customized withdrawal, use a Google Sheet or CSV file containing specific LinkedIn Profile URLs of the invitations you wish to withdraw. List each LinkedIn Profile URL on a separate row, then paste the Google Sheet URL or upload the CSV file in TexAu. This option is useful if you only want to withdraw selected requests.
- Filtering Options: Refine your withdrawal criteria by setting parameters for age of LinkedIn connection request (e.g., requests older than 30 days) to focus on invitations that have been pending for a significant time. This helps you target only those invitations that have been pending for a significant time, reducing unnecessary withdrawals.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the input source options, highlighting automatic search, Google Sheet, and CSV options for targeted withdrawals.
Step 4: Schedule the Automation (Optional)
Use TexAu’s scheduling feature to withdraw LinkedIn invitations at regular intervals, helping you keep your profile uncluttered with scheduled invitation cleanups. Click Schedule to choose a date and time, or select a Recurrence Frequency for ongoing cleanups:
- At Regular Intervals (e.g., every week or month)
- Once
- Every Day
- On Specific Days of the Week (e.g., every Friday)
- On Specific Days of the Month (e.g., the 1st and 15th)
- On Specific Dates (e.g., January 31)
Regular scheduling can help you maintain an uncluttered LinkedIn profile and keep your connection requests up to date.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the scheduling interface with options for selecting start time and recurrence frequency.
Step 5: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
To simulate natural behavior and prevent LinkedIn from flagging your activity, set an Iteration Delay to space out each withdraw LinkedIn invitation action. Configure both Minimum Delay and Maximum Delay values to vary the timing between each request, adding a randomized element to the process. You can set the delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days.
Screenshot Suggestion: Include a screenshot of the Iteration Delay settings, showing fields for Minimum Delay, Maximum Delay, and time units.
Step 6: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
In Output Mode, select how you’d like to save and manage the extracted data on withdrawn invitations. You can export to Google Sheets or a CSV file for tracking purposes and future reference.
- Export Options: Select Google Sheets or CSV file for data export. If you choose Google Sheets, link your Google account to enable direct export to Google Drive.
- Output Management:
- Append (Default): Adds each withdrawal record to the end of the existing data file, allowing you to maintain an ongoing record of withdrawn invitations.
- Split: Each run creates a new file, ideal for separating records by each cleanup session.
- Overwrite: Replaces the previous data with only the latest withdrawn invitations, useful if you’re only tracking current activity.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate to automatically remove any duplicate entries between extractions, ensuring your data stays clean and organized.
Tip: Exporting directly to Google Sheets is useful for maintaining a real-time record of withdrawals, especially for team collaboration and reporting.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the output mode selection screen with Google Sheets, CSV, and Deduplicate options highlighted.
Step 7: Run the Automation on Cloud or Desktop
Once all configurations are complete, click Run to start the automation. Choose between Cloud or Desktop mode to run the automation:
- Cloud: Runs the automation from TexAu’s servers, ideal for quick, hands-free execution.
- Desktop: Run the automation locally on your device if you prefer to use your IP address, simulating manual withdrawals.
Tip: Running the automation on Desktop mode saves cloud runtime costs and gives you greater control over task execution.
Screenshot Suggestion: Show the Run button with options for Cloud and Desktop.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
Once the automation completes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to access data on withdrawn invitations. Locate the LinkedIn Withdraw Invitation automation and click See Data to view or download the withdrawal records.
Screenshot Suggestion: Display the Data Store screen with the “See Data” button highlighted.
The LinkedIn Withdraw Invitation automation offers a simple and effective way to manage your LinkedIn connection requests. With configurable scheduling, customizable input options, and seamless export to Google Sheets or CSV, this tool helps sales and recruiting professionals keep their LinkedIn profiles organized by managing unaccepted invitations in bulk.
